Philosophy

profilingvalues® regards the value system of a person as central factor for developing ones interests and skills. To value something is a process in which an individual gives meaning to something – an inherently personal action. Values are regarded to be the most solid aspect in human psychology. In other words, people have a tendency to keep their values unchanged all through life. This is why companies benefit greatly if they embrace personal beliefs and judgements when deciding about hiring, promotions or other career development measures. 

The methods of profilingvalues® are based on the value system of Professor Robert S. Hartman, a German scientist who immigrated to the United States in 1932 via England and Mexico.

Dr. Ulrich Vogel

Dr. Vogel brings over ten years of experience in the areas of recruiting, candidate selection and career development. Before founding profilingvalues®, he worked for renowned companies such as Mercuri Urval and Neumann International – in Germany and abroad. His customer reference list includes first names in the industrial goods and premium consumer goods industries. Dr. Vogel started his career as a scientist at the University of Munich.
